Silvana Miranda Montenegro

Silvana joined the AIROB Lab in May 2024 as a doctoral candidate.

She holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Medical Engineering and focused during her studies in Signal Processing, Biomedical Imaging, AI, and Robotics. During her Master Thesis, hosted also by the AIROB Lab, she investigated the use of piezoelectric sensors for intent detection for hand prosthesis control.
